Group Coaching
Onslow Fitness now offers Group Training. Are you looking to save money? Are you looking for a partner to train with but cannot find one? Group Training has similar benefits of 1-1 personal training at a fraction of the cost.

1. You can schedule a fitness coaching session with our Head Trainer to discuss how to sign up for any of the previously mentioned group coaching options.
2. You can try any of these sessions for free by signing up for a demo.

Meet Our Fitness Coaches!
Shaun Jones, CSCS, CES, USAW-L1SP
Personal Training Manager

Shaun has a Bachelor of Sciences in Sports Management with a minor in Business Administration from Methodist University in Fayetteville, North Carolina. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through National Strength and Conditioning Association, a Corrective Exercise Specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and a USA Weightlifting Level 1 Sports Performance Coach. Shaun played varsity football at Methodist University in Fayetteville, North Carolina from 1996-2000. He worked as an assistant football coach at Methodist University and Taylor University where he coached linebackers and assisted with the strength and conditioning programs at both universities. Shaun specializes in a number different areas including; postural assessment and corrective exercise, athletic performance enhancement, functional training, weight loss, and advanced program design. Sarah Phillips, Certified Physical Therapy Aide
Associate Head Trainer
Sarah has been actively training individuals and groups at Onslow Fitness for over 3 years. Starting out as a yoga instructor, Sarah now also teaches aqua, spin and everything in between. Craving knowledge and experience has established Sarah as a multifaceted and integral part of the Onslow Fitness training staff. In addition to being a certified personal trainer through the Aerobic Fitness Association of
America and a group fitness instructor, Sarah is also a Certified Physical Therapy aide which enables her to work with a variety of populations. Sarah specializes in group training, weight loss, yoga and flexibility. Sarah is well known for adding fun and originality to your workouts.
Cam Ormsby, BS, Phys. ED.
Cam comes to us from Bucknell University where he served as an Assistant Soccer Coach from 2006-2009. Before that Cam was the Head Soccer Coach and PE/Health and Weight Training teacher at Alexander Central High School in Taylorsville, North Carolina. Cam began his career as an Assistant Soccer Coach at Appalachian State University where he earned a BS in Physical Education. He was also named captain of the Men's Soccer team during his playing career at ASU. Cam currently holds the Director of Coaching position with the Onslow Classic Soccer Association. Cam is experienced with athletic performance enhancement and functional training and holds several soccer licenses including: National Soccer Coaches Association of America - Advanced National Diploma, National Diploma, State Goalkeeper License Youth II Module license. He lives with his wife Jenny and there son in Carteret County.
Jenna McDonald, Crossfit Level 1
Jenna comes to Onslow Fitness from Providence, Rhode Island where she served as the Assistant Wellness Director at Roger Williams University. Jenna studied Exercise Science at Springfield College where she also minored in athletic coach and nutrition. A lifelong soccer player, Jenna interned with various varsity sports teams while at Springfield including men's soccer, gymnastics, and field hockey. Upon graduation, Jenna returned to her hometown and was hired as the head girls soccer coach at Ponaganset Middle School. During her four year tenure, the team won one state title, two division championships and completed one season undefeated. Jenna also served as head coach for Bruno United, a premier soccer club, in Rhode Island. She is certified through the National Soccer Coaches Association with a national diploma and youth II module. Jenna is CrossFit Level I certified coach who specializes in functional movements, sports specific training, and speed development. She lives in Richlands with her husband, Patrick.
Alison Stachurski, CPT
Alison is a Certified Personal Trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine, she also received her B.S. in Exercise Science from Central Michigan University with a Major in Health Fitness in Preventive and Rehabilitative Programs. Prior to coming to Onslow Fitness Alison worked as a Weight Loss Consultant and Exercise Instructor at the Metabolic Research Center in Destin, Florida. Also Alison served as a Cardiac Rehab Intern at Lakeland Medical Center in St. Joseph, Michigan. She specializes in weight loss and functional training and lives in Jacksonville with her husband Rich and their two children.
Grace Ferrell, Cert. Health & Fitness Spec.
Grace has a Bachelor’s of Science from Ohio University in Exercise Physiology. She is a certified American College of Sports Medicine ‘Health and Fitness Specialist’, Red Cross certified Water Safety Instructor, Lifeguard Instructor, and Waterfront Lifeguard. Grace played for the Ohio University Women’s Water Polo team and competed in the Collegiate Water Polo Association from 2008-2011. Grace has three years experience training and instructing young swimmers, adults/ community members, and individuals with cardiac or arthritic related complications. She specializes in training clinical populations using aquatic, low-impact exercises
Lindsay Bahrenburgh, CPT
Lindsay is a native of Northern Canada where she grew up skiing and snowboarding. As a matter of fact Lindsay was rated the top provincial ski and snowboarding competitor for 2 consecutive years in Yukon, Canada. Additionally, Lindsay has been a competitive runner for over 9 years with distances ranging from 5K to half marathons. Most recently, for the past 3 years Lindsay has delved into the world of triathlon. She also earned a Bachelor of Applied Business and Entrepreneurship-Sport Recreation degree at Mount Royal University in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. While at Mount Royal University she served as a Rock Climbing Instructor. She is currently certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and is completing a specialization as a Fitness Nutrition Consultant through the NASM.
